Computer science vs software engineering, which is better for my career? I have two offers from different universities, one is bsc in computer science and the other is bsc in software engineering. I wanted to know which would be a better choice for my career? Both degrees are online and from UK and I plan to move to Canada afterwards.

Why computer science is more popular than computer engineering?
And hell, even within just CS there's a fairly large gap between Software Engineering and Computer Science, with one being far more concerned with architecture and software design patterns, and the latter being far more focused on AI and algorithms.

Software Engineer degree vs Comp sci degree, which one?
Computer Science could land you a job in any field in IT that’s out there. Software development, Cloud engineer, pentester, and many more jobs. If want the better job opportunity then go with this degree.

C# is not low-level, but if you enjoy working with hardware and languages such as C, C++, and assembly, you can certainly make a career as an embedded software engineer and computer engineering degree would be an appropriate backing degree. Go look at job postings that interest you and see what qualifications those positions require. Work backward to figure out what qualifications you lack.
